Tips to stay healthy for baton twirlers

Our Main-E-Acts used their twirling and public health knowledge to share some helpful tips for staying healthy and safe during times of high viral spread. Like Newsies, we take care of one another. As the Newsies say, “One for all and all for one!”

OUR CLASSES

Become a twirling athlete today!

The Central Maine Twirling Corps offers baton twirling classes for children ages 4-22 of all levels and abilities. Twirling classes are offered throughout the school year.

BANGOR AREA

We are proud to offer baton twirling as a program of the Bangor Parks and Recreation Department. Classes are held on Tuesdays at the Bangor Parks and Recreation Center.

AUGUSTA AREA

We are proud to offer baton twirling as a program of the Kennebec Valley YMCA. Classes are held on Wednesdays at the YMCA.

CLASSES AND COSTS

Class length, frequency and cost is determined by twirler’s age, experience, and level of involvement in the program.

Through participating in the art and sport of baton twirling, your athlete will acquire qualities and skills that will stay with him or her long after the baton is put away: confidence, self esteem, sportsmanship, teamwork, dedication, self motivation, hand and eye coordination and physical fitness!
